2020 Overwatch
League Playoffs



For the 2020 Playoffs campaign, players became heroes of their own world. Working with illustrator Justin Harder, each of the twenty OWL teams was reimagined in a style that fused comic book traditions (gimme that Kirby Krackle) with a cut and paste DIY spirit. This look then formed the basis of a series of cel animations that saw each team’s players get a little wild, running and jumping through their cities with no regard for their own safety.
